Agreement to these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and To be confirmed, registered at To be confirmed. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to bind that firm.

What the service does

The service converts bank statement files you upload into structured transaction data, attempts to reconcile that data against the running balance in the statement, and exports it in accounting formats. It works from files you already hold. It never asks for bank credentials and has no access to any bank account.

Extraction is verified against a limited set of bank layouts. Statements outside those layouts are still processed, but are routed to manual review rather than reported as reconciled. The current coverage is published, and kept honest, on our supported-banks page.

Accuracy and professional responsibility

This clause matters more than any other on this page, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.

The service is a tool that assists a qualified professional. It is not an accountant, an auditor or an adviser, and its output is not professional advice. You remain solely responsible for reviewing extracted data before it is relied upon, filed, or entered into any client's books or any statutory return.

We design the product so that uncertainty is surfaced rather than hidden: where a statement cannot be proved by arithmetic against its own running balance, it is held for review instead of being presented as correct. That design reduces the chance of a silent error. It does not remove your obligation to check the work.

We make no warranty that extraction is complete or error-free for any given statement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted.

Accounts and access

• You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the actions of members you invite into your workspace.
• Roles carry different capabilities. A workspace owner controls billing and retention; a reviewer cannot export, retry or delete. Assign them deliberately.
• You must have the right to upload every statement you upload, including the authority of the client whose account it describes.
• You may not use the service to process data you are not lawfully entitled to hold, or attempt to access another workspace's data.

Page credits

The service is metered in pages. One page of a statement consumes one credit. You can convert 3 pages without an account, and creating one grants 20 free pages. Beyond that, credits are bought in packs:

• Credits are prepaid, one-time purchases. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• Credits are consumed only when a page is successfully processed. A page that fails to process does not consume a credit.
• A retry of a document you have already paid for does not consume credits a second time.
• Credits belong to the workspace that bought them and cannot be transferred between workspaces.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and exclusive of taxes, which are applied at checkout where they apply.

Fair-use ceilings apply to protect the service: up to 2,000 pages in any 24-hour period and 5 concurrent batches per workspace. Work beyond a ceiling is refused before any file is stored, not charged and then rejected. If you need more, ask us.

Your data

You keep all rights in the statements you upload and the data extracted from them. We claim no ownership over it and use it only to provide the service. How it is handled, and for how long, is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

You control retention. Files auto-delete on your workspace's policy, and you can delete any document on demand, which takes effect immediately.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings. In particular, and consistent with the accuracy clause above, we are not liable for losses arising from unreviewed output being relied upon.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, that threatens the security or integrity of the service, or that is materially in breach of these terms. Where we suspend an account we will tell you why, and unless the reason prevents it, give you an opportunity to put it right.

On termination, unused credits are treated under our refund policy.

Changes to the service and these terms

The service is under active development and its features will change. We may amend these terms; where a change materially affects your rights we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at To be confirmed have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
